Just… Wooow. Im joining my voices to the hundreds of people you’ve already saved. After a good 2 hrs of tears and sweat (yes by then i was crying of anxiety because i didnt need any problems with my crappy landlord), I knew my problem was the succion. It didn’t create a vacuum effect. Tried your method and at the second time, it worked like magic. Cannot still believe it. Gotta pinch myself. I know this sounds dramatic but you have no idea how dramatic things were getting for me!! You saved me from a bigger panick attack!! And also save me a few bucks, I was ready to throw my plunger and get a new one tomorrow at the earliest hour. Now I know how to properly use my plunger!! Much thanks!!

Realized I've been using a flange plunger wrong for my whole life. Putting it in at an angle and letting it fill up was key. Just cleared a big clog with two pushes. Didn't have to use auger which is a mess to clean. Thanks

There are no words on how to thank you! I'm a 60 year old woman and I've been trying to unclog my toilet (it was pretty gross) for the past two hours. I'm exhausted. Being in quarantine due to COVID-19 I knew I'd never get a plumber. Yours was the first video I came upon. I tried the warm water and some Dawn and waited 15 minutes. It didn't go down on its own, but it only took two small pushes with my plunger and everything went down. It's a really bad time for anything to go wrong in your home right now.......... so this was literally a life saver!! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!

Like everyone else here I've got a blocked toilet. The new tenants are throwing tons of paper down the toilet. I can't buy an auger until tomorrow as all the shops are closed. Which should give the tenants time to reflect on what they've done.

Thanks for saving me the cost of a plumber. My father was a certified plumber. He taught me many tricks of his trade. My son had clogged the toilet tonight. His father used the plunger and snake on without it budging. I had never heard of dish detergent as a cure for a clog. We worked feverishly with the other devices and had nothing to lose. Nothing! I put the detergent in the clogged toilet like you suggested and left it 30 minutes. By this time, my husband was in bed. I plunged the clog about 5-6 times and I felt it move. Needless to say, I don’t have a clogged up toilet anymore. Thanks for the advice. I thought I was going to have to call a plumber. My father would have come to help me had he still been alive. I was glad I didn’t have to call. You rock! 😊🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

Why would anyone give this a bad rating? It is just tips on how to TRY to unclog the toilet. For me the tips were GREAT and I unclogged my toilet. I got the toilet auger for $26 at Home Depot and it took care of it. It easily pulled out a pad from my teenage daughter. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I wish I could give you 5 Thumbs up.

I used the dish liquid and warm water when my plunger would not unclog my toilet. I waited 15 minutes used the plunger again and my toilet was unclogged. Thanks for the helpful information to unclog toilets. 🙂

Parents are on vacation and the toilet was clogged, my parents said that I should just flush it a couple times and it should solve itself, it didnt. Watched your video and got it unclogged in about half a minute. Thank you so much!

This man single handedly saved me from calling a plumber for the rest of my life. Here in LA a service call to unclog your toilet is $200. I bought an auger from Home Depot and did it myself and will do so for the rest of my life. God bless this man!!

We used the last method, dish detergent & a kettle filled with hot steaming water poured in & then the plunger again. Thank God! We have family coming over tomorrow for Christmas Eve. Thank you! You saved us!!!

I always thought I had to flush WHILE pushing the plunger up and down the hole, just saved me from a possible overflow and messy clean up and I now know how to unclog a toilet properly 💯🙏🏽🙌🏽

Thanks a bunch. Just had a bad clog in an old toilet and thought we were going to have to call out a plumber. I decided to give the dish liquid and warm water followed by the plunger a shot after letting the solution sit for awhile. That did the trick. Thank God!
