From the perspective of a regular citizen who could end up on a jury like that, Blanche appears really, really pathetic and desperate to try to please Dumpsterfire while he literally has no legal leg to stand on and no legitimate defense to stand on. There is no legitimate defense, clearly, so the defense is desperate to find the teeniest tiniest thing he might find, some crumb of a mistake by the prosecution witness that he can claim is the crux of the whole case. The stench of failure and desperation will never leave that guy.

The dumbest child can still tell where people stand and can smell when people are being obtuse. In this case we're not talking about a child, we're talking about reasonably intelligent, adult jurors. It escapes me (besides the obvious corruption) why the defense and/or their witness tried to pull strings like a puppet-master. At the end of the day you can not (i hope) intimidate jurors. These people give up their precious time to sit there and watch the charades. Let's go so far as to assume trump is innocent (a big stretch but part of the proceedings)..why in the H**l would you create a 'hostile witness" to defend yourself? Bully-tactics much?
