Thanks, Tom, for explaining some of the "work" that goes into successful trout fishing. Any info that can make the work more productive is always appreciated. I learned some valuable lessons.

On Tom’s podcast he said he only fishes flies he’s tied himself. If you goog “rubber leg pheasant nail nymph,” you’ll find a number of vendors selling similar flies.
