This is a working vacation, just hauled a 40lbs pack 2 buckets shovel battery pump sluice. Three quarters of a mile down a cobbled sandy beach just to shovel all day. Then return the same way with an additional 10 pounds of cons. But the Gold is easy to find, for any seasoned Prospector.

I wish I could spend the summer up here that would be awesome. Maybe here in another year or two I'll just have to tell the boss hey I know I don't have the time but I'm spending the next three months in the upper peninsula of Michigan and if I'm welcome back upon my return then great.

@IowaGoldProspectors best thing I did 4 years ago was take early retirement. Crazy how busy a guy gets when you no longer work 🤣😂

I think I found the same spot that we were at last year. The good area. Only problem is you got a dig down about 18 to 20 inches. To get to that hard pack bottom.
