Sugar, many thx for your comment. I'm doing fine to be honest, still tired from the radiation but week by week it's getting better. Radiation just takes time. Psa test mid July which will be 8 weeks after my last dose. Glad I done my 2 random tests in Latvia to be honest, it's good to see it working and the psa going down well. Appreciate your time mate keep well

Thank you sharing your story and updates. I heard today on the BBC that doctors in Oxford have developed a new imagining system to help surgeons detect microscopic prostate cancer cells. Sounds like a big breakthrough in making surgery more effective and safer.

Great news, my friend! I was diagnosed last year with prostate cancer Gleason 3+4, PSA 5.6. I had 28 radiation treatments with 3 months pf Lupron therapy. I was the unfortunate 5% that experienced all the treatment hardships and indescribably pain for 5 weeks. Two months out from treatment, I feel great, no pain, bleeding, etc. Next PSA test in two months! God speed to all of us who travel this road.

Hi from Hong Kong. Glad to hear your PSA has come down. I would have done the PSA tests too in order to know where you are going. It was already a year ago when I did the surgery with positive margins. Fortunately my PSA so far remains undetectable.

Many thanks for watching in Hong Kong. Glad your psa is undetected. I thought for a very small price I was curious to see what it had came down to after 3 weeks. Hopefully I will get the undetected in another month's time. Appreciate your time

Hi Neil, that's brilliant news buddy. I would do exactly the same. I've just had my 14th fraction today.....6 more to go. They did a PSA check on my first day of treatment and it was 0.25. The specialist radiotherapist told me they might wait either 2 or 3 months after my last session before checking again and that it may take a few tests for it to come fully down which could be 6 months. As u know, people might criticise but we know that 3 months and 6 months is aa long time waiting. I will probably get mine checked privately after 6 weeks to see if its dropping. Good luck mate and enjoy the summer😊

14 down 6 to go, your nearly there mate. I found about this time the most challenging with loose bowels and urgency to go. It wasn't really an issue though. stick in there mate and all will soon be done. Some people want to know some dont. I'm 1 of those who love stats to see things actually working. Was 0.20 now 0.09 after 21 days. Blood test 3rd week in July so hopefully be undetected. It gives me another 5 weeks of summer to relax a bit knowing the results are going the right way. Cheers for watching and commenting. stick in there bro

Paul, that's so very kind of you mate for the donation. All monies made from KZfaq goes straight to a cancer care place near to me. Every little penny means so much to a volunteer run centre. These centres are so vital to the communities, a place where anybody can go for tea coffee and a biscuit, but most important somewhere to go and chat to others about issues. I appreciate every person who views my little channel and I know it's not for everybody but if I can help 1 person to aid their recovery then I'm happy. Appreciate again your kind gesture.

Another great vlog. Not sure if you saw the interview with Professor Hamdy, a professor at Oxford yesterday, my husband has been under his care for prostate issues. He spoke about what essentially is a dye which glows and ‘clings’ to prostate cancer cells, so they can be seen better. I am sorry about the loss of your partner’s mother. Best wishes for a continued recovery.

@@neildavidson7768 Hey, Neal. I am a Prostate cancer survivor as well. I had a prostectomy in November of 2020. Its all indivdual choice but, let me share something with you. I am African American , my father had prostate cancer and chose radioactive seeds, my brother had prostate cancer , had a prostectomy and became a vegan. My father died 2 years ago from prostate cancer, my brother is still living. Food, has alot to do with it. For sure, no processed meat, if you have beef, grass feed, if you have chicken, it should be free range. Pick up the veggies, with vigourous excercise and keep your weight down and no chared meat. I am no doctor, so any who reads this know, I am not providing medical advice. I would say, check the internet there is alot of information about this. It seems diet is key, continued good luck and success and health to you.
