Prostate cancer is the second leading cause of cancer-related deaths behind lung cancer. With over 3 million men in the U.S. who have this common type of cancer, for many, the early stages are symptomless. This was the case for spin instructor, Joe Rubio. At 60 years old, Joe went in for a preventative screening and was surprised to be diagnosed with the early stages of prostate cancer.
Thankfully, Joe was able to seek treatment at Methodist Hospital | Specialty and Transplant, and returned home the day after surgery. Now, Joe is back to doing the things he loves most. Early detection is key. Talk to your provider about screening and learn more about our prostate care at: sahealth.com/specialties/pros....
