What stood out the most is when she said after she was assaulted by one of her own gang members, only 1 person helped her while she was recovering and he's in jail now. All that homie, family stuff went right out the window. Banging for what? People really need to hear that part. She was loyal, gave her life, rode and almost died for a gang, that didn't give af about her, no matter how much these gangs all claim to be family...absolutely no loyalty.

Loyalty only goes to the members that are solid, fought, killed,& almost got killed& set no limits on putting in work for the hood or gang in the streets & prisons. They don,t drop out or P.C. up & still try to claim the game! That commitment when u join as a youth is your word ,, when I run in to "so called" X GANG MEMBERS, I see them as a person who can't keep their word & can't be trusted,,

Once you feel the warmth of someone genuinely loving you and never taking anything from you, how could you go back to the cold streets? No home, users and abusers who are constantly thinking of ways to empty your pockets. I used to walk by people's houses and look at their windows and watch them laughing by the television sitting by the fireplace, cooking dinner. It made me so sad and angry. I don't ever have to live like that again. I ain't missin' nothin' out there, it's the same shit everyday. Blessings.

Seems like many she was only celebrated for her looks and she used it to her advantage and that equated her self worth. Now that she’s been “broken”, she can rebuild on a more solid foundation. She mentions karma, no one gets to avoid it. She has wisdom and humility now and most of all STRENGTH. I pray to God almighty that she gets the prosthetics and dental work to boost her confidence and crush her goals. This lady can be a success story. Come on Catt. Love ❤️

@@magiemaggot indeed… it would be an interesting question to ask. One reason likely reason for at least some of the pregnancies… when you are on drugs you really don’t care about contraception. Or most addicts I guess don’t. Plus after googling it appears that drugs affect your period. Cocaine can make it stop for months on end. So I guess if that happens you may be less careful? This makes me so sad that she passed. She was speaking like she really wanted more out of this life: A home, a husband, a bigger part in her kids’ lives. I could picture her as a motivational speaker for young women who may be going down the same path she did. She may have been in the wrong business, but she seemed very business savvy. Even at the end, asking for a bonus! 😂 I wish more women negotiated their pay like that! She was beautiful and seemed in control until her traumatic experience. The message she put out here was powerful; may the karma she speaks of benefit her in the afterlife now.

Sad thing is you can have all the talent, have the gift of gab the art of storytelling. The telling of a horrendous life story that could capture large audiences but there's always one thing that will put an end to all of it and it's the money on their back. They can't get off the stuff and it's the battle of a lifetime to overcome it and sadly most of these tragic souls are lost and will never escape their addiction. Im not trying to sound discouraging it's just the cold hard truth bc I've lived it too. Once your twenty years in or plus making it out esp life on the street is about impossible unless they really want change. Most don't.

The most emotion she showed was when she spoke of losing her physical attributes and power over people. Understanding the severity and consequences of her actions at the young age of 7 shows early signs of a psychopath. If you listen and remove the emotions she sounds very self centered, self serving, detached and in her own words extremely manipulative. She had 6 children and admitted to pretty much becoming emotionally detached at 10 months with every child. When speaking about her power, gang activities and how super smart she is in practically everything it's as if she's on a high. Her last statement was a message to the person she was before her attack. She thought of everyone in that way and it's unfortunate that she now recognizes it due to her traumatic attack. She's relatively young and I hope she finds peace, makes it out of that life and enjoys the rest of her life being a Mom and Grandmother.

Where I grew up, people did not want to be “street.” The streets are where you went if you didn’t know anything else or didn’t have another choice. We took drugs more seriously than suburban kids. They often got second chances. If we were smart, we knew that one mistake could lose you everything. Still, some of us trusted the wrong person, had the rug pulled out and didn’t have other options besides the streets, and/or somehow got worn down and ended up there anyway. I know I did. She is taking responsibility and she is not a "victim" of anyone else's decisions. I think THAT'S why people are saying she is strong and a survivor. There's no sugar coating,no excuse making,no BS. Yes her guard is up ,because it has to be. She is intelligent but seems to be battling a huge complex right now as she's realized what COULD have been her life. The grandiosity is a coping mechanism but I do not doubt that one must have a heck of a wall up and become tough and hardened by life to now be completely self aware of the past ,present and possible (lack of) future and still live this life on a daily.

Well, I feel horrible for this girl. It must be terrible to find out your “homies” never really were your “homies.” It sounds like she had a good start in life, although a middle class family upbringing seems to be in the eye of the beholder. Something in her life made her lean toward rebellion at an early age. Something made the idea of fast money appealing to her.
