The old grip will absorb the wd40 and cause issues when re using them so get it off them right away. The gray pillowtops are awesome. I went from the lite to the full and it takes some getting used to but not going back

I pour some gas in the grip and then swoosh it around then pour it out and then put them on and then wire tie them. Works every time. I will never use grip glue. To messy for me and I don't like taking them off.
