They were therefore, very excited to help make Kieron Adam's dream of meeting them come true. The 11 year-old was ecstatic to spend an afternoon with some of his favourite players; Hashim Amla, AB de Villiers and Dale Steyn, talking about life and cricket.
The afternoon was capped off with a game of street cricket where they were joined by other members of the Proteas team, who played against Kieron and his school cricket team.

Bhargav Reddy bro no team shows off. see every cricket team has a standard. even indian cricket team would love to do this. indian media creates a lot of hype.bcci, sponsors have given these cricketers a lot of money fr product promotion due to which it looks like show off but it isn't. just imagine if a few cricketers go like this to someone's house . the person who doesn't like them may start throwing stones at them. indian media is again a shit. if u know when an Indian team tours abroad more security will be there fr indian team just coz indian team n indians cannot tolerate losses n they start cursing

This is why I am proud to be South African -- we have many challenges as a nation to tackle, and when you understand and comprehend that this exposes the true nature of our nations people -- how can any of the challenges we face not be conquered. Sport heroes or not -- its the values they and the fans and the community express here that is the South Africa I know and believe in. Very patriotic moment to watch this.

Absolutely heartwarming....shows the character of the Proteas and not to mention the fact that the players are so humble especially for guys representing their country who are the best test playing nation in the world really speaks volumes. Guys like Faf who takes fans criticism personally to the point where it hurts him, Amla the silent warrior who puts the teams needs above his own and AB who as a leader leads by example among others in this team who play with their hearts on their sleeves shows what a lucky nation SA is to have these guys representing us #proteafire and hopefully we can bring home the world cup with these amazing bunch of players who really deserve it and for us fans who stand together behind the team......Sport helps to unite our country in a way I've never seen anything else do so.....SO LETS BRING IT HOME

Respect man! They are promoting the game, they are humble. They have come to know that fans are everything to a sport. Not like the egoistic and money-minded like our Indian board and the players.
