Excellent!!! Thanks for sharing your experience! I was on my way to Best Buy to get the 850VA when I came across your video. I need the unit, but felt 100 bucks was steep. Well... Frys has the 1000VA unit for a hundred bucks and I can justify the purchase more. Oh...I have so much more to say, buuuut I really was wanted to thank you for such a thorough video. Good review but I wish you would have plugged in a computer with screen to see what time that would stay up since that is primarily why folks purchase these. Otherwise still a good video post. Thanks for sharing.

We just can’t get ours to work. They sent us another battery replacement and we put in and plugged into wall overnight. Don’t see or hear anything when we tr6 and turn on.

that 119/120v is showing you the power is coming to your UPS, watt is the one thats using thru. Its very important to make sure the information is correct when you are trying to teach/show people, so please kindly let me know if i'm wrong. Thanks.

I got hold Cyber Power 900 AVR for $60 as used today it great to have sometimes my power goes out many time I been using UPS many years now I just wish they make battie last longer Sometime I do backups so far been lucky power hasn't gone out

+george aura Thanks George. I use binaural microphone earbuds taped to a foam wig head and have it seated right across from me. So the sound you hear should match with sounds made to the left and right in the room and if you listen with earbuds or headphones you should sort of feel like you are sitting right across from me at the table.

I'm just setting this up and plugged in the first time charging. How to check the battery's remaining capacity while charging?

I have an APC UPS from about 10 years ago. Once in a long while (2 times per year, maybe) the buzzer will start to beep for no apparent reason and I need to shut my comp down before I can turn off the UPS and stop the beeeeeeeeep. Can this CyberPower UPS be turned off so the beeper will stop, but still supply the power till the battery runs out?

I just bought and I’m a bit confused with the warning sing , Are you supposed to plug it in 8 hours before turning it on, or turn it on and leave it plugged in for eight hours without connecting anything into it?

I don't know, but to be safe I'd charge it for 8 hours before plugging anything into it. I'm about to order one now from Best Buy

I leave mine plugged in all the time when running my pc. Even at night when it's off. The battery only kicks on when the power outlet stops delivering power (Power outage) so you don't have to worry about degrading the battery.

can an outlet strip be used to conserve for more outlets on the ups?

+george aura Yes, I have done that- for low power devices.
