Impromptu walk and talk video which we ended up meeting a gentleman who just had his home broken into as he was asleep with his family. The story is pretty scary to think about but his dog did not alert the family that the robber was breaking into their home as himself and his family were asleep. Home break ins like this are very scary and happen far too often. What would have happened if they had a guard dog like a Cane Corso? I noticed that as soon as Bruce and Joey heard the siren, they began to sniff the ground. The sense of smell is a dogs greatest attribute. Dogs smell things we will never be able to. I love these dogs and I don't even know them!

It's wild how tired and satisfied they were from this family outing. They were so happy and content after.

Oh how I wish my girl could go in the car (Cane Corso). She was sick from 7 weeks to when she passed at 9.5 years. Tried everything the vet recommended and everything I could find. She just was not a car dog. No one ever came in my house though and I never felt afraid living by myself. She walked on a waist leash as I used 2 walking sticks. She also drew a lot of attention when we walked. Miss my girl. Your fur babies are awesome and very well behaved. I would have also stopped and asked for fur baby hugs..

My son used to leave his Cane Corso with me numerous times when he vacationed. Never had any problem eating. Of course, it may have to do with me giving him a bunch of tasty cheat food he would never get at home!

The funny thing is, not all "guard dog" breeds will protect their home. Not a hit against the dog at all, but its just a fact that some wont. But they ARE a major deterrent. Most people wont want to chance it at all. Even Rotties wont always protect the HOME. Now, protecting their family is a little different. I have to be careful with my Walter cause he is VERY protective of me. I always introduce people to him prior to allowing anyone to just pat him at all. Once i do, he is great and LOVES getting attention, but if you act sketchy, he wont let ya near me. Nothing makes you feel safer than a well-loved large dog (for us its rotties).

I have never been one to cross the street when I see big dogs coming my way, but it's always good to proceed with caution. Thanks for putting out this style of video. It was interesting seeing the different reactions that people have to your dogs.

I have 9 dogs if 1 misses I’m sure another won’t it’s a gamble. My neighbor to the right of me has 5 my neighbor behind me has5 if they all miss they at least gave us a warning… locked and loaded!!!

Your dogs are jaw dropping gorgeous. You should be commended for your dogs training. I have Dobies and JRTs 2 high energy dogs but they have been socialized and trained get lots of exercise and love. It makes such a difference. Just wish more people would take the time and energy to make a well rounded dog. ❤

It's interesting because we are seeing two colours in your dogs. You see it in horses....both are black, obviously...BUT you have a fading black and non fading black. You can see it when they are close together. It's a different shade of black. Justice is the non fading black...it is a far deeper intense shade of black.

So many people assume that their dog will alert them to a home invasion. But you're right, that is NOT the case. I have two German Shepherds, and thank god, they are alert and one day, Nabucco, my male, did alert me. Long story, but he's good as gold. My female is just like him. But some is instinctive and some has to be trained. There are breeds out there whose main function is being a guard dog, like the Anatolian Shepherd, Great Pyrenees, even Malinois and Giant Schauzers. There is a company (not an affiliate) in KY, been in biz for 40+ yrs that raises and trains protection dogs. They have a YT channel. These dogs though are a minimum of $30,000 but they're able to live w/families, babies, kids, elderly. I also have found a family run biz, that makes signs that you can put in your window "I Watch Here." I have one with a German Shepherd posted in my transom window; helpful deterrent.

💥💡💥 Oooooooh, how about a drawing to get to do a walk and talk with one of your fans? Obviously, meeting up some place where a fan couldn't stalk you back home😬, but either the fan gets to walk with you and experience the real-time experience of seeing all the minutia at work to responsibly accomplish a safe and purposeful walk with big, powerful, and attention drawing dogs or, you could meet up with a fan (without your dogs) to do a walk with the fan and his/her dog. Not legally defined as a training session to keep things simple, but a walk "observed" by you, and you can just chat about the present dog and describe what you see happening during said walk. I bet it could be so very helpful for bringing a new level of awareness to any person who walks his/her dog. For example, spotting the hole in the ground, recognizing the 1st time experiencing sirens, and seeing how Kara didn't white-knuckle the leads at the moment new elements confronted the boys. May I even suggest a reminder for those who see dogs in public, to practice approaching walked dogs with respect from the dogs point of view. It seems the larger the dog, the more "handsy" the behavior becomes once the stranger has passed the mere 2 second sniffing of the hand introduction. Heck, while we're on the topic, how about a PSA that just because a dog draws attention doesn't mean the dog's owner is obligated to let strangers swarm said doggo. We see your dogs enjoying the interaction, but i would say the majority of folks need to hear it's also OK that some dogs who enjoy the public outings don't enjoy the actual face-to-face pressure strangers force on them. Society's skewed definition of a "good dog" is one that wants to let everybody get up into its face and smother it. It's limitless the lessons we could learn from a non formal walk and talk from you guys. Oooh, you could even do a series... lone females, a mom who has the dog tethered to a baby's stroller, the dude sitting at a bench while his wife is in a store shopping, or the child who is holding the leash while the group he's with has paused at a crosswalk. The ideas just keep going lol. I have a rare-breed dog, and the behaviors of some people in response to seeing him can be very overwhelming to both of us, so I really do enjoy observing the walks and thoughts of your family. All depends on the Dog I always felt safe with 4 🇺🇸 pedigree Golden Retrievers in 🇨🇦. No one would get on the acreage with that big pack. Problem is people didn't take them seriously, my Goldens had same temperment as my Corsos, but people think twice with Corsos and ignore Golden Retrievers. I even had Rottweiler, she would body slam people and be a Diva all at the same time. I switched to Corsos as I couldn't get the pedigree of Golden Retrievers I was I was use to. I had a Dumb Golden that wouldn't even bark. Now with Corsos I have Gentle Giants & Protector that People notice give space & respect.
