Tens of thousands gathered in the nation’s capital on November 4 to protest against U.S. aid to Israel, while also demanding a ceasefire in the war between Israel and Hamas. The conflict has claimed more than 10,000 lives since October 7, when a surprise Hamas terrorist attack inside Israel killed an estimated 1,400 people and left at least 240 held hostage in the Gaza Strip.
