Hi, excellent clear voice. Ill try to watch your other tutorials. 3DS max designer here, studied it in an official 3DM school for 6 months, but its been 20 years since and im just brushing up to rekindle the old flame. I dont mean to sound negative here but this particular title, its nothing great and can be made within just Vegas Pro NLE, with bevel 3d lighting using bump map lighting etc for an almost akin effect. For 'this' effect 3ds max and then after effects to complicate things further is actually overkill. With volumetric lights etc you can show some awesome cinematic text effects which cant be replicated by an NLE or just AE.

Man, you are a freaking genius both as a tutor or teacher and also as a 3D pro. In addition to this you are simply cool, not like those hundreds of boring amateurs with their 3ds videos which you die by getting bored by the half of their videos... Ive just started with 3ds two days ago (30yrs ago I had an Amiga and a PC with Imagine3D and Lightwawe 3D apps) , downloaded all your videos and I already can make amazing things that I though only years of expertise could result. Indeed, your years of experience makes our learning 100 times faster and fun at the same time. Thank you for your help! Your videos are worth thousands of Euros at schools. You are not only pro, but a very good person. One thing, I did not find an animation focused tutorial from you, but still watching them ;) I would love to see a recommended relatively cheap hardware video from you (considering CPU, GPU, cards, Nvidia or ATI etc). Not the 3000 bucks Tesla cards etc. I have n clue how to make my GPU join to the rendering...

I have a problem, when I position my letters at frame 90, all the letters turn as they should. However, when I go back to frame zero and move the letters, they don't get back in their position as in frame 90...they only rotate as they should. What did I do wrong? By the way, you are amazing with your tutorials!

quality vid and tutotrial even tho i run into someproblems in ae , ... i make the new background i add the ramp onto it , i drag it under the tif lay and thats problem one , it doesnt show for me in composit , second i cant seem to figure out how to you add the keyframe some help/tip would be nice .
