Skin color isn’t a daily conversation in our household, but it’s also not one we silence. As parents, we know that our kids are different and stand out when going to Korean kindergarten, but their skin color is not what makes them special. Their personality, their background, their character, their integrity, and so forth and is what is important. We are glad to raise Minji and Jun to not worry what others think or say, and to know everything about them is beautiful, even if that means that they look different compared to their peers. Going to school and learning is the focus of Minji and Jun's education as well as socializing with peers that connects with them regardless of anything thing else. We want to keep education and confidence as part of Minji and Jun's lives as they are grow up in Korea towards a bright future.
