I miss him and wish I could talk to him and as I was staring at the sky saying I hope he is proud of me, this song came on and I cried more. I delicate this song to the ones who lost another. Who stays up late at night struggle looking in the mirror asking if you’re enough. Daily walk with their heads down with your thoughts racing with negativity thinking you ain’t gonna amount to nothing. For the ones we prayed for to see another. I wanna say I’m proud of you to keep that lungs breathing. I’ve been through my share of struggles, definitely even let the pain emerge into depression and that had me pop a bullet in a clip just to end it. I’m a survivor of it. So I’m proud of all yall!

I just hope they are proud of me. Ill be clean off heroin and crack 7 years. When i lost my kids two years ago i had the trigger but i told myself no you worked way to hard to fall back now. Even though they are not with me now doesn't mean they won't be in the future. Ive already failed my kids in bringing them home im not going to fail them in falling back and doing nothing with my life. Im now doing van life working as a training waitress moving herself up to management in a few months. Im going to buy this land and build my home from the ground up. Im going to make sure my children have a beautiful place to come to and to bring my grandkids someday and leave them a legacy!! ❤❤❤❤

Recently lost my son, May 3rd 2023 in his sleep. He would have turned 5 months old on May 3rd. I have two beautiful girls (3 & 5 years old) and I have been fighting a battle with DHS and the grossly contorted system that is set up in a way that encourages parent to give up. You gave me a reason to keep fighting even when everything seemed impossible. My soul screams aches of despair without you here. Some days it’s like the waves take me to the bottom of the oceans. Other days seem semi- manageable. Regardless of what is going on and how heavily the enemy has been attacking me, mommy is not giving up. Mommy will honor your life by living mine to bring God all of the glory. I will hold tight to your reminders of joy & glimpses of hope. I will not give up Huddy. I promise you that mommy will never quit fighting. I promise you and myself that I will get our girls back at home. I was taken from my mom at age 5 by relatives who couldn't have kids of their own, from 5 to 13years old I was physically abused & beaten, then 13 years old child protection got involved, then 6 different foster homes later met my ex, first 2 years were ok then got violent & i ended up physically abused by him for 12 years & while pregnant then met my now husband & for the last few years he's been picking up the pieces of me & putting me back together as I battle severe depression & anxiety, he introduced me to this incredible song & said how much he's proud of me...the 1st & only person to say those words to me so THIS HITS DIFFERENT!!!

Because I could no longer allow my 3 boys to watch him continually sabotage himself and our family. It was one of the hardest things I've ever done. And then I was sitting in my car listening to the radio. And my oldest he was 15 and he came out to the car, got in and said let me see your aux cord. He put this song on paused it and said. Mom I know how hard that was for you to do and I'm so proud of you and how you handled it. Listen to this song and remember you had me young and we pretty much grew up together. All the ups and downs, we went through them together. I got you through this too every step of the way. And one way or another we will survive and come out stronger and better. And wether dad can see it or not YOU ARE ENOUGH! Then played this song. And then he played more then enough. AND I don't think I ever cried so hard in my life.
