MOOI&VANN is a team of two people who gave up on music due to life's hardships and met each other through a chance encounter and started a new beginning together.
MOOI's Story
"Don't give up" - MOOI
I stumbled upon VANN's music through an internet website one day and was instantly hooked. He inspired me to pursue my dream of music again. "One day I will meet this person and work on music together. I won't give up this time." He disappeared after leaving a message saying "I quit music." I didn't know any information about VANN, but with a vague faith, I pursued music again, and one day life brought us together. A lot of events happened to me and him while the songs were being written, but we kept working and after a long year, our first album was finished. We are going to tell more of our story starting with the release of our first album "Paralyze".
"Relax and Be Myself" - MOOI
This is what I always tell myself and the people who love my music. It's hard to have the courage to start over after losing what you love most. But it's even harder to live with something you've lost. If life is hard, I wish I could just push through and look at myself. If you haven't, or if you need to find the courage to do so, I hope my music and my challenges can bring you that hope.
VANN's Story
One day, two years after I took a break from music, I opened a social media messenger that I had previously opened and rarely checked, and found a thank you message from someone who still remembered me as an artist. This unexpected contact made me feel very grateful and proud, and I started working on the project, which I was able to finish within a year, as life happened. My first album, "Paralyze", is perhaps the most meaningful work that allowed me to start making music again.

Through my music, I want to tell a story with depth, not just a melody. I want to create an experience where someone can listen to my songs and become a character in the story I've written, immerse themselves in it, and share their emotions. Even if it's a story they haven't experienced before, they can bring 'themselves' into the new story as if they were reading a novel. The effect of evoking a person or situation with a scent is called the 'Proustian effect'. I want you to experience the Proustian effect with my songs so that you can go back and immerse yourself in the memories of those precious times while listening to my songs, so that you can feel the reverberation of the past that you can't go back to, recalling happy memories, sometimes difficult times but overcoming them, and sometimes nostalgic relationships.
