Not so much for me. Goku killing his own brother in a suicide attempt to save his son, spends a year in the afterlife doing nothing but training, coming back to life and immediately fighting for to save the world. Vs a dude who got to meet his son twice and treated him like crap until his son nearly died and then treating him like crap with breaks for ice cream until he died didn’t really strike me as masculine. Just an asshole. Hardcore yes. But an asshole. Semantics but there are some differences between masculine and hardcore. I appreciate him more as an adult now that he’s nicer and more respectful to people. But he’s still hardcore.

@@lastx2534 thats the whole topic for vegeta, hes on the right track but does it wrong and learns to be a "real" man, its just nice having a prideful strong character. vegeta is all about value of himself and for his son, he is an asshole to his son because he wants the best for his son but doesnt know how he can get the best out of him. especially since hes only half saiyan and doesnt have the saiyan strife and spirit which would automatically bring trunks on the right track makes it alot harder for vegeta, hes not a human they dont feel like we do its just very similiar. goku is just a deadbeat idiot without a care in the world, vegeta does compromise at times because hes a rational thinker but does like to take a risk, goku just doesnt care if its risky or not he doesnt bother with thinking about it he goes with the situation and if he can fight and fight someone strong thats nice for him. hes a nice guy to be around maybe but hes also not reliable, vegeta is.

Growing up my mom was chronically sick. Kidney failure. Always sat with me watching DragonBall and I always told her she was a warrior. At almost 35 years old I gotta remind myself, I'm the son of a warrior. And crazy as it sounds, vegeta be helping me remember who I am and where I come from.

This is why I like Vegeta more than Goku. Goku has never known the struggles that Vegeta has. Sure he faced overwhelming threats and odds but Vegeta was the one that taught us how to overcome those odds through the strength of one's own will and as well as what it means to have pride in oneself.

I thought this might be different from the other one... Like some quotes from his atonement would have been nice... The Zyzz video is great, but you used most of the dialog again in the same order.. The "a sayan keeps his pride" was a very nice touch.

Yeah, I went through a lot of his audio through the majun buu series The one main issue I found is that his voice can be so drastically different at times that they sound like completely different people.
