麻薏是一種植物，處理過程步驟繁雜，過去是用來消暑的一種湯品，搭配地瓜的甜可以降低一些植物本身的草根味和苦味。算是一道古早味的台灣食物。也許可以帶朋友吃蘿蔔糕、芋頭糕和一些客家菜。實際感受的話可以帶朋友去釣蝦場釣蝦然後搭配裡面的食物一起吃，也可以去體驗原住民的文化（在地導遊導覽跟食物介紹）

牛肉麵個人覺得加點酸菜不錯吃，如果沒酸菜，加上少許的烏醋或白醋提鮮蠻不錯的，小菜會點盤泡菜或小黃瓜搭配。當然，每個人的口味都不一樣，嘗試別人的吃法也不錯的。

James is use to paying through the roof in Japan for small portions of foods. He’s going to be spoiled paying less for large portions of foods. Plus the younger generation of people in Taiwan can speak some English compared to Japan. Sluuuuuurp away!! 😅

麻薏湯在台灣是很少很少很少人在吃的一種食物、點心。主要在夏天吃。因為退火。天氣熱時吃。有時候吃冷的。有時候也吃熱的。看個人喜好。這個食物只有台中、豐原的人在吃。因為產地兼市場。這個麻薏的原身是用來製作麻繩。我們吃的是它的葉子的部份。小時候我常常吃。通常是加蕃薯。或者是加小魚乾。有些時候放冰箱。吃起來冰冰涼涼的。很清爽。如果口乾舌燥。或是發燒。或是感覺有點中暑。可以吃麻薏湯解熱退火。這個食物全台灣只有台中、豐原有產。另外聽說彰化、南投好像也有。不過我是很少很少聽說。

Wow 麻薏湯這個選擇有道地很懂哦這是中部很多店家夏季限定的湯品，小時候常常會拌著飯吃，只是製作很麻煩，因為如果沒有把麻黃葉嫩葉反覆揉洗乾淨，煮出來通常會有一點苦味

台灣人也不太習慣把乾淨的筷子湯匙放桌上，會放餐盤上，甚至用衛生紙再擦拭一次放在乾淨的衛生紙上台灣北中南的飲食習慣及口味也不同，受日本文化影響深遠，包括服務業我這時代的父母會告訴小孩吃麵不要發出聲音因為不禮貌（自己的經驗），日本人吃拉麵是可以發出聲音的，日本沒有邊走邊吃的習慣，台灣有台灣人真得真得很愛吃😂

我可能必須說明一些在台灣吃東西醬料的主體基本上是 "醬油" 你可以依照個人喜好增加醋米醋辣醬芝麻油魚醬(沙茶醬) 帶適主體是 "醬油" 決多書的餐點口味都是偏向清淡的為了滿足那些口味清淡的最低門檻口味網上的可以自己或者請老闆再次加重了解這個你在台灣的美食體驗才會很愉快像是5:00ˋ中鍋貼的沾料你可以醬油+米錯醬油+辣醬可米醋+幾滴辣油大多數不會讓你感到愉悅......

whenever foreigners say how cheap or afforadable our food is, it always bugs me. why not compare the salaries? it is expensive considering the local payment.
