Wow this song was a classic I was 13 when this song came out a freshmen in high school. I was the blessed to grow up in this era you young kids call this hip hop but back then we called it rap lol😆😆

Scarface had some of the best storytelling tracks of the nineties seen a man die in 94, now I feel ya in 93 second to pray minute to die in 91 not to mention other great storytelling tracks with geto boys His resume is insane I don't feel there has been a better rapper out the south salute!!! (Memories of him you can never take)

You know what I like about Scarface he's so dope but you never hear him praising himself and trying to get all kind of recognition cuz you could tell he loves what he do very underrated to me but you know what I think he likes it that way some people like being the underdog

no that was the 3 strike rule, where the laws change in the 90s, when someone commit a crime less than murder and continue going back to jail. by the 3rd one that person will be in jail for a long time, but people start complaining , why people in jail for a less crime than murder for the the same amount of years as a murder even on a 3rd strike

(Come up means getting on top, money, power, etc. He basically talking about how much dirt a guy does to come up. With little remorse. But when it's their time then they feel the pain and sorrow. But you can see why Scarface was Tupac favorite rapper, DMX favorite rapper, Jay Z lists him in his top 5 and even did Face is your favorite rapper's favorite rapper.

The “1st strike” is not that he’s black is referring to the prison system, if u get charged with a felony u get a “strike” if u get a 3rd strike u will be facing some serious jail time

In California (may be other states too), there's a 3 strike rule. If you commit serious offenses and the judge rules it a strike, if you get 3 that's an automatic life sentence. Edit: yeah about 24 total states have the 3 strikes law
