Yes Index cannot fall/Rise as much as stocks do. But how can Stocks fall by 50%, 65% etc in 1 day? as they have maximum Circuit Limit of 20% in India

I strongly agree with you,but I think one still needs to understand the basic guidelines and understand deeply the things involved so as to be able to rotate and know when exactly to engage in i.e timing (entries and exits) with those the risk of losing funds can be controlled or totally avoided .

Trading in stock option will have a possibility that you can not lose 100%. In index you will lose 100% the next trading day if the trade goes against you

I would correct it this way. Don’t trade stock options close to expiry. Never trade weekly index options

Trade anywhere with risk management and you'll be fine.

Remember he is a Option writer .

He is considering the point of view of Options sellers not buyers because he himself is a Option seller only.. The volatility in individual stocks is actually beneficial for Option buyer. Only disadvantage in stock options is you can't buy ATM or near OTM options in expiry week.

But stock options is much less volatile than banknifty.......u can have a stoploss of 8 rs in reliance / infy stock options than banknifty in which stop loss getting hot is much likely.......i believe that when there's a good breakout in stock.... stock option or stock futures is bestt
