That's the filament sensor. It was the same for me. I took out the screws holding it together, applied a bit of grese on the top of the screw and put them back. Works like a charm!

I was also having some griding noises, replaced the bearings with Misumi ones and the noises dissappeared; probably some extra grease on the stock ones would've also helped.

@@bone78787 Prusa printers are way, way better in quality. Not even speaking about the capability of changing parts yourself and the costumer service Prusa provides.

Yo so my filament I have been using for a long time and I ran out so I took out the filament and added a new one I used the same filament but then when I put new filament it didn’t want to go in and nothing came out the nozzle can you pls help me
@sabitech2k Жыл бұрын
Did you cut the new filament at an angle? I find sometimes the new filament will get stuck and catch on some of the tubing. Best thing I can advise is to twist the filament as it goes up to the extruder. And push it in up to the extruder. Then hold it with light pressure against the extruder while confirming on the screen the new filament is ready. You should be able to see it go along the Bowden tube.

Why do you have a cover for the screen? Learning about 3D printers so I have no idea. Lol Prusa Mini looks like the printer to buy right now would you agree?
@sabitech2k Жыл бұрын
I love my Prusa mini, it really is a set and forget machine. Customer service is amazing and the printer pretty much runs itself with little maintainence. I also have an ender 3pro which is my tinkering machine that I mess with. have a cover as the printer is in my office and sometimes when I work late the glow of the screen gets distracting so it just hides it :-)

Prusa mini is an ok printer but you can get the ender 2 pro for a quarter of the price and better quality
@sabitech2k6 ай бұрын
I think the challenge with the Ender 2 is the customer service. IT's different markets for different printers. I also have an ender 3 here that can print better than oher printers that are more expensive. But it's a different target audience 🙂
