Sorry to hear about the drop in revenue. We also have financial problems but are able to afford your very reasonable Members Only fee. Keep folding. I am in the process of folding a modification of the Stamens kusudama. I’m bed ridden and my right armpit is acutely painful so it is taking a while 😢. I made modifications that make the assembly more stable and less in need of glue. The most impactful of these regards the folding of the square at around 4:22 to 4:24 on the video. Instead of using a valley fold and pushing the resulting triangle to the right, instead use a mountain fold and fold the triangle to the left and over to top of the flower. Then open up the top right hand layers of the petal and push the folded triangle into the pocket. This is much stronger. Without it I had to use glue to stop the model falling apart. A second modification that helps stability but requires quite a bit more work, is to fold the stamens in half. This secures the tabs included in these pockets from slipping out. I also fold the inner stamens in half and add a decorative corner fold for good measure. I am still experimenting on ways to make these moves easy and without the risk of crumpling the flowers or the need to sharpen my fingers to a fine point.😅 I hope this is helpful.
