I like the idea of Gerry not voicing this final letter, cause it demonstrates that depth of someone being gone. It’s a tough one to go through.

I am a widow like so many people. I have 15 years in. In all the years I've of course known other widows and this is one of the best moments to listen to and to give. It's perfect in everyway the way that it is. The letter. It's the last things you wanna hear at sometimes but exactly what I needed to hear at one time. "You made my life Holly; but I'm just one chapter in yours" is the most painful thing I have ever heart but the most true. It's strange to say but I am so very thankful for this movie in my journey. This part in particular. It tells you some things that no one really can......

When he's reading the last letter Gerry wrote for Holly in my opinion I think it would be better if Holly could just hear Gerry reading the letter as David's reading it. It'd be more romantic and sad that way

Why do I watch this, fully knowing I will sob my heart out. most upsetting part of the film, and i cry about 95% of it... gerrard butler though phwarrrrrrrrr!

God, I'm all cried out! This is the only movie that could ever make me cry every time I watch it! Just goes to show how beautiful love can be, and how easily it can be taken away. I really envy anyone who can move on after something like that! lol. thanks for posting my fav scene in the movie!

I watched this film with my wife and I was ok till this part ..it’s when you watch this and you feel the love between them it made appreciate my wife that bit more. But I think that gerrards voice should have voiced the last letter though ..!! The way the letter was wrote was fantastic every word you felt you could feel the love

This is exactly how my girlfriend makes me feel. How lucky am I? I'm a man with no fears, no regrets, no worries. She's moved me, she's comforted me, she's made me more mature, more responsible, more of a man and she's brought out the best in me. She can take care of herself too. Ist jetzt schon ein Monat her das ich wieder single bin und gaaanz langsam geht es mir wieder besser. Obwohl ich sie noch immer sehr stark vermisse und jeden Tag an sie denke. Tja, das leben ist nicht einfach... scheisse alles! Pass auf das du kein scheiss machst, ich bin 3 wochen völlig entweder breit oder high rumgerannt und das hat mir gar nicht gut getan.
