I also like that he must have shot with two different cloaks because when the green screen is "off" you can see that it's some fabric material but that wouldn't be possible to chroma-key out. Basically what I'm saying is Kevin has two invisibility cloaks. Movie magic truly is a gift

The thing with kids had no idea about memory card back then and only played until their parents shut the playstation off feels like universally relatable for 90s kids, a lot of my friends had same experiences as well.. I legit started using memory card once i had ps2 lol, my dumb 4-5 years old brain could not comprehend you can save games with ps1 back then 😅

I've never read the books or seen the films... And I was 18 when the first film came out in 1997. I'd have little to no idea what characters are important to the plot of the film or game! 🤔😁🤷🏻‍♂️ I just know Harry was abused as a child, being forced to live under the stairs at his aunt & uncle's(?) gaff. Somehow his parents had died. He was so unliked he had to make friends with a ginger kid. And Dracula's blonde grandson is the school bully. None of them learn to use their broomsticks properly. They're flying around and not masturbating with their ointments! That's the extent of my Harry Potter knowledge! 🤔 😁 🤷🏻‍♂️

Fun Fact: Rik Mayall was originally cast to play Peeves in the first HP film, but his scenes ended up getting cut due to "time issues". It's also speculated that he was cut because his performance was too funny. They literally couldn't continue filming because the kids on set kept ruining takes because they couldn't stop laughing every time he showed up.

I showed my family a few of Kevin’s videos. My sister and mom spent half the video laughing and the other half of the video trying to figure out what was going on. Overall, I would rate this a 10/10 first time viewership experience on their behalf. Thank you, Kevin, for helping me bond with my family! Nothing can do it better than chaos and murder.

Ok guys can we agree on something? This game actually had a really good atmosphere. Mostly because of the glitched music that would stop playing as a result you would roam the halls of the castle with nothing but the sound of your footsteps and the burning torches. I personally loved how creepy it was.

“This is why [Peeves] didn’t show up in the movies!” Fun fact: he was not only going to, but they actually filmed a scene with him! He was played by the late Rik Mayall and allegedly in the footage he appeared in, some of the actors could be heard laughing off camera because he was just that funny.

for anyone wondering why Peeves didnt show up in the films, they cast Rick Mayall (Drop Dead Fred) as Peeves, couldnt figure out a character design for him and the scenes that were shot he was making the kids laugh too much and they couldnt get a decent scene made. so they paid him and let him goafter a few weeks into filming... somewhere in the WB vault is his scenes. #ReleaseTheMayallCut

@@nightspawnson-of-luna4936 The thing is he isn't supposed to be a "wacky prankster character", in the books Peeves primary purpose is to be a (destructive) menace towards the schools residents(only listening to The Bloody Baron and Albus Dumbledore). He also isn't really a Ghost, he's a Poltergeist who basically came with the castle. Edit: spelling mistake

@@nightspawnson-of-luna4936 Not really, while Peeves is a wacky prankster character, he's not like Fred and George, and even scenes with Fred and George required the children to stay in character when the pranks were at their expense. E.g, Peeves snitches on Harry and co to Filch when they're sneaking around the castle at night. Harry and co would not find this funny because they're very scared of the consequences. Thus, Harry and co being amused by Peeves pranks _at their expense_ would break character. In later movies, it would've made much more sense, for example, Peeves sort of allies with the students in Order of the Phoenix by playing lots of pranks on Umbridge. It would make sense for them to laugh at this.

I have been watching Kevin’s various Harry Potter play throughs ALL DAY to find the “biggest burn in video game history” again (because I forgot which vid it was in) and here it is!!! Did not disappoint, watched that bit 4 times and laughed at each! The spiteful little laugh on the “oh, sorry…” gets me every time, and then the edit with the sun glasses. Very good. Very very good.

Ugh, I wish they would remove my wisdom teeth :( side of my face is blown up because one is growing in, but apparently to my dentist because it's growing in normally it doesn't need to be taken out no matter how much pain it causes me. I hope you recovered well though!

@@fawnieeeThat's so odd, they usually remove wisdom teeth even if they grew in normally. You should definitely talk to a different dentist, especially if it's giving you so much pain. I got mine removed before they even grew in.

Unless they are growing in wrong wisdom teeth are fine. Im 41 and have all of them. Then again i have super hard teeth. Have only been to the dentist 3 or 4 times. This video was very entertaining but it was a little weird how Kevin never even acknowledged that he has already played all of the Harry Potter games in this very same channel before lol He even talked as if he remembered the sections of the game out of his childhood instead of having played it like 3 years ago. Felt like I walked into a different timeline or something. Either way, fun video, hope you replay all of them in this format if you feel like it :D especially the PS2 Prisoner of Azkaban one which is my favorite.

I love this longform content! and for such a banger of a throwback game. I remember when I discovered your channel, and then spent hours across the first few days going back to watch all your old HP game videos (would be awesome if they were on a playlist btw) so this is great seeing you do this in your new style. you've grown and changed so much as a creator, but you still have that same Kevin charm you had back then.

I remember this game! Apparently my PS1 disc was dirty or scratched or something during the fight with Malfoy and his henchmen in the entrance hall, so instead of the normal battle music, all I kept hearing was that one fat kid’s grunt he makes during his introductory cutscene on loop followed by the other fat kid’s sinister chuckle on loop once he ran in to join the fray. 😂
