When I enter the pit, nothing happens. The car goes straight forward even when the fuel is almost empty. What should I do?

That is a bug "just ignore what what the guy in the radio says about pit-stops. Only pit when the pit indicator has turned green!! If you pit when the indicator is green"

Press "select" to request a pit stop. Otherwise the crew won't come out. This is not a bug though...
