They had two games really this one and the AND1 streetball game but it's like the art of streetball died out. Even today kids arent outside hooping in some areas whereas in the early 2000s people were imitating hot sauce lol.

Original Xbox always had music of your own customization for their games . I recall San Andreas having the custom soundtrack station. Even though I have both ps4 and Xbox one I still like Xbox one over ps4. NBA 2k20 I'm not that hyped over . I just play 2k19 here and there . Generally with a friend or two . Not to crazy competitively with it . It's about having fun . That's my mentality with video games . Not that I'm big into basketball or anything .

I like PlayStation 4 but few things hold it back from being my top spot for this generation of consoles. 1 being backward compatibility . They have it on ps4 just behind a paywall . Even if you already own that throw back PlayStation game . Also how PlayStation now hypes up 650 games . Yet they never Add the newest exclusives . To me they seem a little cheap with their approach . It's no surprise why Bill gates is one of the most wealthiest humans alive. He knows without customers there is no product to be sold even if there is one to be sold . PlayStation sort of bullies their way around the players . Where Microsoft seems more player friendly. Adding exclusives available for all Xbox game pass users 3 days early to new exclusives . PlayStation doesn't even add their newest exclusives. Did you download the NBA 2k20 demo ? My friend told me it was just My player mode . An other issue with 2k is how they make players regrind their new player in the new instalment. Instead of obtaining their current one. So many issues with modern day gaming . I wish it was back like in the street hoopz days . Where nobody had preferences we just played what ever game on whatever console . No dlc bully tactics and upselling . It's just so bad th state of video game s. NBA 2k is nothing like it once was to. I recall having NBA 2k2 on my original Xbox . With Allen Iverson on the cover . You have th street hoops blacktop game mode . You had create a player give him a 100 overall all categories. No my player grind fest. I mean video games is no longer a kind experience ..it just seems like so demanding of everything . Not just demanding of one's energy and time but almost their entire homes to just to play a video game . Here's to hoping the upsell dlc gimmick aspect of gaming dies out for good in the future . There is always hope .

@@humansaredumfuckthemtodeat9461 from my understanding is it's easy to grind like old 2k games but like 2k17 you hit 95, you gotta play park to go above that and I dont mind. 24/7 mode on 2k4 and 2k5 made you play everyday cause you lost attributes if you didnt with 2k7 in 24/7 next your dude was basically a 99 lol.

Sadly they ain’t gonna do that even with NBA Streets Vol. 2

Derek Turner I was on this game Religiously. I beat all the Tournaments, and had so much money it was ridiculous. We need something like this for the PS4 and Xbox One. Street Ball, or Nba Street would be craaaazy!!!

Closest thing we have is grinding on the park in 2k but it's not the same, Live street mode is fun but doesn't any of the tricks that make streetball even more fun.

Lol just buy a Xbox series s & emulate All the ps2 games

Some of the lyrics I could kinda hear was something like "step into the realm of the prime time player" "I'm more Scottie Pippen, getting boards double digits" lol so it's pretty much another underground joint Dave used like that song Club Rats.

It was the game of summer for me in 2002 we used to gamble playing it.

I never gambled on it, but I probably should have. I used to bully the CPU sometimes on it, I probably could've made some money for real.

Same with the real AND1 game it's not as memorable as street hoops cause the ps2 version was glitchy but it was heat at the time to me.
