When he told GT Goku, "Tell Shenron, Thank you for the Dragon Balls." That was the most sincere and incredibly wise thing I've heard in any character's dialogue. They really did Roshi right.

I noticed in some of the intro's, character's facial expressions changed when it was mater Roshi. For example, Krillin looked happy instead of embarrassed in his intro, and Trunks looked happy instead of serious. Also, he called Broly "Broccoli" and that is gold.

"Goku, do me a favor. Tell shenron thank you for the dragon balls..." God this means so much, in my perspective he's thanking shenron because if it wasn't for the dragon balls, roshi would never met goku, krillin, bulma, yamcha, tien, launch, etc, All of them became his family and he will always be there to fight along sides them (Edit) I was told that roshi said this at the end of DBGT but ive never finished GT myself so so didnt know, still I like to think of it this way)

I'm glad they got Roshi's OG voice actor back for this game. Wouldn't be Roshi without him.

Roshi was Goku's first teacher, in both martial arts and, to a lesser degree, general education. It didn't take long for Goku to surpass him, but Roshi's teachings remain with him even now. The Kamehameha was originally Roshi's technique, perfected over several decades of training. Goku learned the importance of basic, constant training and the ability to channel chi from Roshi. Even decades later, it's obvious that Roshi's original lessons have stayed with Goku.
