Any model PS4 can be jailbroken, but it has to be on firmware 11.00 or below. I have the PS4 slim, and it is silent with the same performance as the original. Now if you want more performance I recommend the pro, but it will make a lot more noise than the slim and probably heat up more in heavier games. But in any case, whether slim or pro, after purchasing, if it is making a lot of noise and heating up, I recommend cleaning it well and changing the thermal paste.

@@swerve1574 "Installing PS4 Games, DLC & Updates on the 11.00 Jailbreak!" by MODDED WARFARE . Its a pretty good video. You may encounter some problems extracting the rar files after downloading the game. or installing the updates later on the PS4, and then you can ask whatever you want when you have a problem. As a tip, some games when downloading come in several parts, you always have to click to "extract here" on part 1, then it will automatically extract the other parts in order. And sometimes, even after extracting, it may happen that you don't extract it straight away to a pkg file, but rather to another folder with many rar files (for example, up to 30 rar files in order, and when that happens you have to extract it again but just click to extract it on the file that just says rar, without any number in front.

if you meant playing original PS4 Blu-Ray games disc on a jailbroken PS4, then yes it should be playable but you will not be able to access the game’s online feature due to the nature of being jailbroken. Discs will include the firmware required to run the game on the disc, so as long as your game doesn't require a firmware higher than what you are on, you can play it just fine. If it does require a firmware update, it will let you know so just decline the update.
