@@MCFC_Army I was thinking about it for the last 6 months and I don't know why I waited so long. The PS4 is far superior than the Xbone imo so far. The exclusives are overwhelming. Ghost of Tsushima is an absolute masterpiece and Dark Souls 3 is as well.

@@hchickenz1138 i saw it on the FB marketplace, some kid was selling his Pro and his 32" gaming monitor and I asked how much he wanted for just the Pro, and he said $160 if I could buy it that day. It didn't have any games or any controllers, but $160 was still a steal. So I met him and he had the receipt and everything. Dude pulled up in a 2021 Ford F150 and told me his parents had just bought him a PS5 and he just wanted some quick cash. Receipt said it was purchased just 4 months before, you can tell this thing was barely played. So I just think some kid with rich parents just wanted some party money or something lol, I got lucky.

@@_etcsk5979 perfectly fine 🙂 I'm very happy with my PS4 slim. i have played a lot of games like Spiderman (platinum) god of war , ghost of Tsushima (platinum) horizon zero down, the batman Arkham asylum and origins and had no problem.Its a great little console 🙂 I know it's not ps5, but all games that I really wanted to play are on it so to me it's perfect. Depending what game you play you may I may not hear the ventilator, but it's normal games like God of war and ghost of Tsushima are demanding games , but the system (cleaned and with the changed thermal paste) handles them like a champ 🏆🙂 so go get it and enjoy it 🙂

When you have clear eyesights u will see the difference between 4k and 1080p but the visual and details are also same, 1080p is good for gaming experience unless u want to spent more money, go for pro unit. If u don't have 4k tv it's not worth to buy pro, u can enjoy gaming experience in slim btw the consumption of electricity between pro and slim is much higher For pro is like 300-310watts and for slim is around 150-165watts

Do you have yogurt for a brain? If its 1080p the PS4 Pro in every scenario should do more than the Slim. Why? It's simple. Pro has a better GPU, it has 8gb dedicated ram for games. There isn't some magical chip that the Pro has that the Slim doesn't that would make it perform better in 4k. The reason it performs better in 4k is the fact that 1. the slim can't play games in 4k. 2. The better GPU previously mentioned. I could keep going but you got yogurt brain so yeah

Well some games on ps4 pro also have a 1080p performance mode while the ps4 slim only runs it at 1080p 30fps and also some games have resolutions below 1080p on ps4 slim and are 1080p or above on ps4 pro but its better to save up sone money for a ps5 when they eventualy become more available they can play ps4 games and it looks the same as ps4 pro and have better performance

Nope... You can set it to 120 hz due to that high refreshrate option. and if you buy a good screen lets say samsung oddysey g5 or higher you get a 4k image not true but high refreshrates. Tested it myself. And also you have options in online games that allow you to set a high refreshrate for standard so.

@@JustBlight_ look. It depends on your monitor. I had a samsung G5 odysey hooked up to a ps4 pro with 3 settings 60hz 120hz and 144hz. then you set the output to Yuv420 or automatic. And there is also free sync on there .. and high performance mode.. anyway worth a try. You get like 2k instead of true 4k but its worth it. I made some bad ass clips with ps4. But you need to reset your database to get the best performance out of your ps4 due to that 24/7 recording ps4 does standard. And if you have lots of clips and stuff on it it gets buggy and overheats, Anyway you can get more out of your console. It's all settings man.

@@oOSupaFlyOo1 Dude do you know how any of these stuff actually works? You can have a 1000 hz screen, but the PS4 only has the horsepower to output 60 hz for r6. You’ll still only see 60 fps no matter what Nasa settings your monitor has. This video posted was an older version of r6. Back then when I turned on the fps counter on my PS4 in r6, the fps used to skyrocket randomly like that cz of a bug which they already fixed. If you play R6 today on a PS4 using any of your fancy monitors, the fps counter will only show 60 fps and you’ll still only get 60 fps no matter how high the hz is on ur monitor. There is no option to change the frame rate on PS4 versions of r6, so I don’t know what are you talking about. A PS4 is not like a laptop or pc where you can change all its parts and get better graphics/frame rates. Yes you can only change the SSD like I did for my PS4 I installed a Samsung 860 evo SSD to have faster loading times in games, reinstalling the software, database, etc and everything else. But the horsepower of the PS4 remains the same no matter what. Unless you’re talking about increasing the frame rate of a recording that you have then that one would actually make sense. The only consoles that are able to output 120 hz for r6 is PS5, Xbox Series S and X

Im starting to think rainbow was enhanced during a patch or some, because, i noticed that is probably the only game that I know that runs over 60+ fps. But its only terrorist hunt mode, from what I noticed. 2 years ago, it wouldn't go over 30 fps unless you turn on the v sync function.

60hz is enough....but get 144hz if possible, it'll be future proof for you

Also, 75hz - 90hz is better for your eyes than 60hz, but I don't know how much frame rate will be an ergonomic concern if your display is truly flicker-free.

Cap bro. I have a Samsung 860 Evo SSD installed in my PS4, which is one of the best SSD’s for a PS4, actually a top 2 SSD for a PS4. Fixing a custom SSD into the PS4 helps to load into games a lot faster but it’s not faster than the PS5 at all. The PS5’s are using an extremely rare SSD which is one of the fastest SSD’s that currently exist in the market. And FYI, SSD’s don’t help to increase frame rate at all, it only helps to keep it more consistent/stable than a HDD.
