Idk, I think the PS5 sounds more like Heaven, with how low key and relaxing it sounds. And the fans doesn’t sound like a jet engine anymore.

@ElectroX7 Series No, mine was quiet too. The reason everyone says the ps4 sounds like a jet engine nowadays is because a lot of people haven’t properly cleaned the PS4 fan, and with all the dust accumulated in the fan, when it spins it creates a lot of noise. If you just deep cleaned your ps4 once a year or every other year, it should have no problem running as silently as the day you got it.

the ps5 was so different and so were the sounds, the ps3 notification really fit the ps4 vibe similar to the ps3, the ps5 is something else.

whenever i hear the ps4 sounds, i remember 10th grader me sitting in front of the crappy tv we had at 2-3 am but without having anything to do and being bored as hell because all my friends are asleep, so id just sit there and stare at the screen and listen to the menu theme for 10 minutes and then shut everything off and go to sleep

I'm pissed that they didn't keep the trophy sound from PS4, I'm pretty sure it was the same sound on PS3 so it was kind of a legacy being carried on.
