Yeah horizontal is simpler but I'm gonna try vertical after that liquid metal problem was proven to be an error. Takes up less room vertically

Do you know if using it horizontal prevents discs being stuck? I also heard of the rest mode issue and i'm wondering is it still acting up?

Look, I've seen a bunch of videos debating the differences between Vertical Standing vs Horizontal Positioning. @@thomass1891 If you pull on it really hard if you’re connected to a charger and it doesn’t have a stand it will guaranteed fall and break, the stand reduces that a lot

I have no idea why they changed the disk drive orientation, it's been the same since the original Playstation. I kept putting in an old PS4 disk and getting an error message.... and then I realized I was putting the disk in the wrong way.

FOR THOSE UNAWARE: Apparently setting the PS5 vertically is harmful to the system due to the liquid metal. I’d recommend using the horizontal method Edit: I’m aware this was debunked. You do not have to tell me anymore. I’m keeping mine horizontal anyway cause it works better with my setup.

You can put the cap in the hole next to where the screw is hidden in the stand so you don't lose it
