This is exactly what I said Sony was doing months ago but was laughed at for saying what I thought was obvious. First party studios are busy preparing for the pro. It’s obvious they want a strong show out for when the pro releases or very shortly after

I don't think Sony is holding games back for the PS5 Pro other than maybe a Ghost of Tsushima 2 announcement but that won't be out until at least next year. They had a lot of studios release games very late in the PS4 generation so they just don't have things ready yet.

9:25 I think Enhancement label with raytracing will have a significantly more raytracing even at 30 fps. I don't think it will be a trivial difference given the GPU side specs.

Can you be more precise in explaining the unrealistic expectations you're seeing? Upscaled 4k, 60fps, and improved raytracing (individually or together) seem reasonable given the leaked specs. The only copium I see are those hoping the PS5 Pro is a 30fps disaster.

I bought the PS4 Pro because the base PS4 was chugging, and the fan was howling. My base PS5 hasn’t even broke a sweat yet. PS4 Pro to take advantage of a new 4K resolution TV I bought at the time. PS5 already does 4K. Also, PS4 Pro to enhance PSVR. Don’t know if PS5 Pro will do this, but PSVR 2 is already on life support. Let’s not forget the PS4 Pro was $400 at launch, which wasn’t bad after trading PS4 in. PS5 Pro is going to be $550 minimum, I’m guessing, maybe $600. At this point, I’m keeping my base PS5, and holding out for the PS6 Pro.

Dude I own both and it did nothing to use the vr on ps4 pro because it to play it you have to be in 1080 base mode for ps4

It would work in 4k I thought the same so if you had it hooked up to ps4 pro and thought it was 4k you might not even got to see what the upgrade was for the pro but no the vr wouldn’t work on pro unless you just wanted to play the game on same resolution as the base ps4

Enhanced ganes will run and look even worst at 30 fps. No matter what you do to the grafics if your frames are low it looks blurry full stop. Complete wank this console

Keep your watered down PS5 just like you kept your watered down PS4. 15 million of us bought a PS4 Pro because we wanted a top tier Playstation experience. We are the target audience, not the masses. I dont expect any casuals to buy a Pro anything

PS4 Pro sold 15 million, there is a target audience. PSVR 2 is nearing 2 million sales, which is good in that industry.

This sounds foolish. Of course the PS5 Pro will sell better than PSVR2. The question is whether it will outsell the PS4 Pro. It's a fair question, considering the PS5 is tracking slightly behind the PS4. Once we experience games running on the PS5 Pro we'll know the answer.

@@toastyburger PS5 is selling better then PS4, at 55 million now. That means 15 million PS5 Pros & 47 million PS5 Slim sales to eqaul PS4 sales. It's not even been 4 years

@Alienisolationist The 2 reasons people bought ps4 pro are because the base ps4 was a fkin helicopter or they never bought ps5 and stuck on ps4 , ps4 sold almost 117 m when ps4 pro sold around 16m ps5 now set around 54 m

Pc is going to the default for both Xbox and Playstation. Look at ghost of tshima for pc. It let's you get trophies friends just like Playstation. No point getting Playstation.

@@toastyburger true. But gaming is getting more expensive so companies like xbox or Playstation will look into this as a way pav away from consoles to have profits. Consoles are becoming pc then self in some way. So why not.
