This is very realistic. My grandfather constantly used to recall the phenomenon of the names of soldiers and weapons appearing in the air everytime he looked around. He also told me that the first thing any good soldier would do during a bombing raid was to head for the roof of a nearby building.

@@mk1driver This battle has been studied by scholars, military colleges and historians on an inconceivable level. There are countless books, first hand accounts, documentaries, films, master thesis, military documentation from all sides and more. A lot more. Granted that “u been there done that lolol” is an absolutely asinine response, it’s still worth rejecting. This game is a piece of silly entertainment and absolutely could have aimed for more historical accuracy, which - if it did, it would have made for a much more chaotic and ugly experience. But, it did not and now millions of younger players are absorbing this and reflecting on it online as if this is an accurate reading of what took place.

I think that the designers of this game did not figure out that when bombs are starting to fall on your head you don’t make a run for the roof but for the basement. Always a better option 😅

its so realistic, very impressive. The realism of walking down the steps while drifting through them and looking away at same time. The realism of trucks and vehicles with 0 mass and no inertia. The realism of bags of sand flying over intact and almost weightless. The realism of having airplanes raid russian cities without previous warning while already having radars and other plane detection mechanisms...

Уверен. Вклад женщин в войне был значителен. Лётчицы, есть песня про "русских ведьм". Медики, снайпера, связисты. Всё теже должности, что и мужчина занимал. Война не распределяет на пол. В войне ты бесполый товарищь. Наша страна потеряла в эту войну очень много народа. Поряжизни 26 000 000 жизни. Концлагеря, выжигание деревень, растреллы мирных. Всё это довелось нашим прадедам пережить. А теперь вновь всё идёт.

@@michaorowski41 or the volkssturmgewehr which was made as a last ditch rifle and in very few numbers, or the fact they added german paratroopers, or red dots on ww2 weapons. All the devs had to do was google what weapons a standard german platoon would have in 1942 but instead they probably thought that was just to boring.

Oh I loved that game . Some of the missions would take hours . I remember one where you had to use the stars and cross miles of swamp land . They should make a modern equivalent today .

As a German, i'm very proud to see how they managed to include german Langauge historically accurate. The typically response to the german "Rücke vor!" Was indeed "Roger" Other historically responses in the Wehrmacht were "eins, zwei Polizei", "das ist ein Bingo" and "du hast"

Смотрела видео наших бойцов, и мне кажется у "великой армии расасии" тоже самое ИИ стоит. Возможно в игре даже умнее. Ничего не поменялось с 1939 и финской войны. Ка шли колоннами, которые разьёбывают так и идут. У вас хоть что-то меняется? Хотя я б скзала как были мясом для вашей власти так и остались мясом

- Советские бойцы ходят на изготовке с Мосинками как Американские солдаты, стойка . Так точно не ходили , ощущение что Янки переодетые в Форму РРКА - Далее закатанные рукава как у Фрицов или те-же Янки. - Зарядку скачет то-же по Западному стилю

+ все солдаты бегают и визжат как сучки в американских фильмах как будто это первый авиа налет в их жизни + дура решила убежать из расположения части чтобы убежать по крыше от авиа удара В итоге: очередной сюжет западных 3,14дарасов о том как бы они действовали бы в схожей ситуации, но в место себя они нарисовали советских людей

Это точно, а карты у разрабов не было, потому что их в интернете забанили. Мне понадобилось 5 минут, чтобы найти топографическую карту Сталинграда за 1937 год и за последующие. Про погоны, несуразное оружие и открытое размещение войск, а-ля пикник,на площади павших борцов, вообще молчу.

Great graphics- creative and realistic immersion . War is not fun - by now we should all realize that. Perhaps with such war games and such graphics we should all realize there are but a few heros while civilians perish in their hundreds to thousands .Playing such games makes me more desirous of being a peace keeper in the real world . Keep our aggressive instinct to online war games which all humans have indeed. Be peacemakers in the real world.

Looks great! Only a huge mistake. Epaulettes were abolished in the Red Army (and seen as Tsaristic) and were only reintroduced after the Soviets had their victory in Stalingrad!

What about T-34-85 from 1944 in Stalingrad? It has a lot of mistakes. It just doesn't matter for creators. We should be happy the flag is not of Russian federation and there are hammer and sickle.

I’ve always been a student of history and I’ve always thought that being at Stalingrad would’ve been the craziest experience probably of the whole war. Someday I’d like to go there and check it out when retrace all the battles in Europe.

I honestly wish we can play as imperial japan as well and Italian for once because both sides lost too many innocent lives and it’s more than fair enough to see their side
