Will this work with any smart tv that doesnt have 4k tv with 120hz, can it also work with 4k tv with 60 hz. What SSD do you guys recommending buying and where from?

I feel like the separate disc drive is key. If it ever dies out, Sony has made it easy to replace. Exciting move by Sony

Exactly! I have the digital now but sometimes wish I had the disc drive on it, especially around Black Friday when all of these physical games are on sale!

Thank you! I'm a big fan of the new look as well. It fits nicely on my computer desk. The interesting thing is that the smaller version does sound louder than the digital (original) edition I have. Fans likely working much harder than before.

I got the MW3 bundle because I had the digital edition since launch. I miss physical game sales and used games.

I can confirm they are definitely discontinuing the digital OG model. I recently bought a ps5 an OG model. I was looking for a digital version cause honestly I don’t buy physical games haven’t for many years now and didn’t see a reason to get the disc drive I’ll never use. Anyways I checked four stores two Best Buy’s, a Target and a GameStop around me and they all had ps5s in stock but no digital ones. They didn’t even have digital slim models either. I think Sony might be planning to only bring out the disc ones but didn’t say it officially knowing there would be backlash.

I think you're right as I also tried looking for digital versions (both OG and new). It looks like they'll be focusing on selling disc versions.

The new digitals are out but I still believe the disc slim with the bundles are the way to go while they are on sale

I just got my PS5 new version (slim) yesterday, haven't opened it yet. Yes it is my first gaming console ever! Got the MWIII version, but confused if i should have gotten the OG version, it was listed at same price with Spiderman 2 & was a disc version, what do you guys suggest, shall i open it? Really confused 🤔

Congrats! I think you should keep this one unless you want Spiderman 2 BUT switch only to the Spiderman 2 slim version (there is a bundle for this as well). With the slim, you get extra internal storage, which helps with these next gen consoles.

Yes, there was a spiderman 2 version in slim as well, my sis was in a hurry at best buy, she had a flight to catch, out of confusion i asked her to pick MW3, without even looking MW3 ratings, is it possible to exchange the voucher code with someone who is interested in MW3 and share his voucher of Spiderman with me?

They have already discontinued the OG digital, so whichever retailer has remaining stock would be your go-to. For the slim, I haven't seen it released yet so stay tuned within the next month

Don't think so! Internals should be the same. Only difference would be the power cable it comes with.

As someone that dragged out my PS4 for the longest, I how my PS5 slim. If you already got the OG, I’d just wait for the Pro model if you’re itching for an updated console.

My ps5s disc drive gave out in a little over a year 😅 so I traded it in for the slim Spiderman 2 bundle. I fixed the drive and traded it in for $407 in store credit at gamestop

Play station is absurd lmaoo how you gonna make a smaller version of the console then charge 50$ more for it. And charge the same price as the og disc version lmaoooo and then you need to pay 30$ for a stand. I thought Microsoft was pocket gouging its fans but ps is got it

@@Catnap50493 I believe! Keep tabs on the PS5s during Black Friday and for the holidays. You may see some deals. Also, GameStop for refurbished or used consoles as well.
