Whenever my friend hosts anything it feels like I'm piloting a Mars rover. If it doesn't feel like a Mars rover than I'm being attacked by phantoms I can not damage and can not escape from Doomed to die.

Only the host should go melee. Everyone else will experience delayed knockback. How it normally goes: Slime jumps at player, player swings sword, slime is knocked back. How it goes if you're not hosting: Slime jumps at player, player swings sword, slime completes jump and damages player, slime is knocked back. In that order.

Had that issue when trying to host a server without anyone else in it. hope they kept it like that though, it's funny when you play around it with many people.
