I have respect for the Greeks (although many of them don't have for me and mine) and their huge contribution for the Orthodoxy (and for many things at least in this part of the world in general), but I don't have sympathy for this modern nationalistic overtone and subtle claiming of exclusivity, especially when it comes to Orthodoxy - which can be seen also in other modern day Orthodox countries. After all, we are all brothers in Christ, and Christ goes beyond nation. Glory to God! ☦

My family gave to catholic mission in India. That’s how I knew that Indian christian were catholic…but for Byzantine, I spent 2023 of my life thinking they were catholics lol. (In France we only learn about western christianity in history classes lol so i know nothing about eastern people)
