Psalm 53 - The Faithful God Delivers His People from Fools

Psalm 53, taught by Pastor David Guzik, is essentially a repetition of Psalm 14, with a few small modifications, probably intended to give faith and courage to Israel in the midst of a national challenge, such as the threat of invasion or a siege.

Proverbs 19:29 says, in part..."and stripes for the backs of fools." When i first saw this years ago, i thought, "Wow! Jesus even took the punishment for fools!" And that, from then on, gave me hope for any fool to be saved...even me, since fools are described in several ways in Scripture. And before i was saved, i surely was a fool in many ways. Would you please comment, Pastor, on Proverbs 19:29? About the stripes for the backs of fools & the stripes that Jesus had?
