I been struggling with drug addiction and alcohol abuse for years until I found God again and he shed mercy on me because of my ignorance. Been there brother. I was so exhuasted from trying to quit. Jesus gives us so much rest. I believe it is when i sat back and realized i was still alive. Although all the bad choices and all the things i was doing to myself God still kept me alive. Its then that I heard him say "We still have a lot of work to do." from that i heard he still loves me, he doesnt hold my sin against me and he wants to use me for his purpose and good. You still alive bro! hes got a reason for that. Hes using you for his purpose and love for others. Big love my man, stay free!

I’m going through a season of heartache. I’m trying to have a relationship with God while He picks up the pieces of my brokenness and it’s soo hard because I shut down. You know what I often think about? Not only did he take the torturous pain of the cross- he stayed on it. He could have come down. No human would ever stay on a cross in torturous pain and not come down-if they could. Jesus did. He wasn't human-if he was he would have come down. He didn't come down -and he could have. That's love. ♥️ God-man.

Jesus was fully man and fully God. If He wasn't fully man then He wouldn't have been able to really empathize with the temptations and pain we go through but if He wasn't fully God then He wouldn't have been able to go without sin.

That’s l♥️ve. The sin He did not commit He did in the same strength as man. The first Adam brought death into the world by sin. The second Adam brought life into the world by not succumbing to the temptation of sin.
