To stand firm in our faith without wavering, we are to trust in the Lord wholeheartedly and demonstrate integrity in all that we do. Both psalms 1 and 26 speak of the righteous person who lives a solid spiritual life, who does not follow the ways of the enemy but the ways of the Lord. We are not meant to be Christians who are tossed about, who compromise, who cave under the pressures of life, or who panic when we enter (or are in) a time of testing. God is faithful, His Word is true; it’s up to us whether or not we will lean on Him and claim the Word for ourselves, allowing both to make a difference in how we live out our lives. If we do not stand firm in our faith, we will not stand at all (Isaiah 7:9). Thanks for the teaching, Dr. G.

Today is September 1, 2023. And on this day, let us pray for those treated unfairly or unjustly accused. Psalm 26:1-8.

To stand firm in our faith without wavering, we are to trust in the Lord wholeheartedly and demonstrate integrity in all that we do. Both Psalms 1 and 27 give clear instructions on how the righteous are to live, who we are to associate with, and what we can expect from God when we choose His way. They remind us that we must choose who we go to for insight and advice. How can an unbeliever give us insight and even wisdom when they don’t have common ground with believers? Would you let a teacher operate on your body? No, we would go to the person with the expertise about the issue we’re having. The same is true in spiritual matters. We must seek wisdom from other believers, preferably spiritually mature believer, whose source is the Word and have a solid relationship with the Lord. As I read both Psalms I was reminded of this Scripture: “Do not be mismatched with unbelievers. For what partnership is there between righteousness and lawlessness? Or what fellowship does light have with darkness?” (II Corinthians 6:14 HCSB) I love the way the Message breaks it down: “Don’t become partners with those who reject God. How can you make a partnership out of right and wrong? That’s not partnership; that’s war. Is light best friends with dark?” (II Corinthians 6:14 HCSB) Be Encouraged!

This is so insightful bad company corrupt good moral in short, David comes God to vindicate him without fear because he know were he stands not on his ground or merits but on Jesus. Am being reminded of the scripture search me oh lord by David, it seems like David even not perfect was confident in What Jesus Christ offer boldness to come to the father because of the blood.
