PSP 2000 (XMB Sound Test with PSX-DVR Sounds)

XMB sound test on the PSP 2000 Slim using the PSX-DVR sounds extracted from a rare japanese game console from Japan, it sounds great. I currently own a fully functional PSX DESR-5500 and which we all know it's the first console to feature the XMB menu.

I want to try it on my PSP Go console to use it. Is there a link for a startup boot with PSX sound compressed in the file?

It can work on the PSP GO like it's predecessors. Also the RSO file I can only edit so far is the System_Plugin but I can't seem to find the Opening_Plugin inside which is where to edit the startup sound, maybe it's cause im on 6.61 update for it which explains why that RSO file doesn't show up from what I checked.

I would also like a link to these sounds. How did you exact them from the PSX DVR?

The PSX-DVR uses an old 3.5 HDD hard drive by Seagate from like the 2000s which is were the sounds came from. Plus the other reason why it makes the console so heavy to carry like the PS3's similar weight

@@PuertoRican88 ok, is this from the RSO of the original/classic PSP theme? if so, how can i get that file + what software did you use to replace it?

@@1000-HURTS only so far I can edit the XMB menu sounds but not the rest, it's tricky work though. RSO Editor is what I used but to replace the sounds is tricky to do. Your PSP has to have CFW to open it.

@@PuertoRican88 huh? how? i received my psp and installed CFW but i can't edit system_plugin.rco for sounds. they need to be decompressed (according to rcoeditor) i do not know how to do that. can you help?

@pantheryt82 there are 2 types of tools needed to do this, one is the MF Audio to convert the sounds and the CTFtool to replace the sounds on the RSO file.
