it actually did not sure what my mac installed along with the iso files but it didn't seem to damage the iso files what happened was the default archiver the mac has probably didn't do it properly. In short Thanks Robles for helping me!!

i know this is an old comment but thought I'd reply in case anyone else has the same question. I have a psp 2000 with 128GB card working on it. you will need a micro SD to memorystick adapter, they can be found on amazon and aren't that expensive. avoid the adapters that take 2 micro DS cards I've heard they are less reliable. you will also need a micro SD card (i haven't tested any bigger than 128GB) when buying a micro SD card make sure it is a genuine card. test it with a program called "H2testW". using fake SD cards will cause corruption & data-loss. once you have your genuine Micro SD card you need to format it to "FAT32" you can do this on your pc buy right clicking on the micro SD card and clicking format then choosing FAT32 from the formatting options, leave everything else as default, quick format is fine. once formatted on the pc it should show up just fine on your PSP but i suggest formatting it in the PSP now before you start filling it up with stuff. hope this helps someone.
