for me it worked whidout a cable i just put my psp card into those card to usb things and i followed the tutorial and it worked! great tutorial it helped me A LOT

If you do not see your themes delete the ".txt" at the end of you VSH text file. Worked for me.

THANK YOU SO MUCH! I was following instructions to a T and couldn't figure out why my cxmb plugin just wasn't showing up. Didn't realize that dran .txt was causing the issue

THANK YOU. That worked. The plugin now shows up in the Recovery Menu. BUT the custom themes still do not show up :/

I used this video so i could use a theme pack i recently downloaded and it was so easy to do. Thanks so much, used a few of your videos to mod my recently bought PSP2000. Never had one when they came out and now looking forward to playing games i never played when it came out.

Please do a tutorial video for 6.61. I have CFW running on 6.61 LME. I did not have a seplugins folder to begin with had to create everything reset VSH still nothing.

here is a simple way of getting PSP themes. go to the themes link in the description of his video. download what you want. put USB into USB mode and plug it into a computer. go to the PSP themes folder. drag the theme into the folder that way you dont have to download any homebrew or any crap like that.

Yes, CTF is Custom and PTF is official Themes by Sony.

Anyone else have the issue where the default waves still show through the themes? The themes worked fine at first but now are all about 50% transparent :P It happened when i tried to play music with the water drop visualizer which was no longer available and just the default waves as a visualizer after installing cxmb. I have uninstalled all the way and reinstalled and still have the issue :P Any ideas? I've been googling this but can't find anything, looking like I may need to start a thread on it somewhere... And rebuild my psp :P Tried my memstick backup with no luck, used xplora to go into flash1/vsh and deleted the file and theme folder. Ended up not able to apply themes. Went back to the vsh folder in flash 1 created a folder named theme and can now apply themes but still have the issue 😭 also doing that brought back the water drop music visualizer. 6.60 pro / psp3001 /

Make sure the cxmb thingy has it's own folder on the PSP folder. Then you should be good to go ;)

It did not work for me I checked in the recovery menu and all the 7 plugins were there. When I reset the vsh, I went to themes and they were not there !PLEASE HELP!

Is there any way to remove unused categories from the XMB? For example, PHOTO, VIDEO, MUSIC, etc? I have the plugin that removes all the unused apps from within those categories, but not the categories themselves..

Depends. If you update your psp to 6.61 you'll have to change everything.

Download Clear xmb black 3d theme from his download themes link and it will slant the icons mate, it's the theme he's using at the beginning of the video, I found it will slant quite a lot of other themes too.

Check the vsh text file. if there is no ms0: on the start, it wont show up.

just create a seplugins folder manually and in there create a new text document and name it vsh.txt.

Tentei fazer o mod cxmb no meu psp, modelo fat 1004, fiz todos os passos mas não consegui usar o tema direito, ele só muda a cor e aplicar um papel de parede, mas nao modificar o xmb por completo, tem solução isso ou e por causa do modelo de psp.
