The first one "The Actor" is Japanese and based on a Kabuki actor!! Also, by the silhouette I saw, the secret, I THINK, is the "Birth of Venus"... I think it's called. (Edit: thank you to the lovely and polite commenter who corrected me on the Venus one!)

It’s called “The Birth of Venus”; the Venus di Milo is the Venus statue that lost its arms.

I love that these can teach about works of art, and the fact that they look like the creatures from "Where the Wild Things Are." by Maurice Sendak.

The Fifer (Young Flautist) was painted by Édouard Manet and has no relation to the patriotic fife and drummer painting.
