Let's be real even though the Japanese ver of x4 we cant understand what the characters are saying I believe they have more serious voice actors then the laughable voice actors that we got in the english version

i agree this is where i stand or as the millenails in modern times like to say i stan which i can't believe that i said that from what the millenails like to say lol and on a side note who wants capcom u.s.a to release the japanese version of this game as a free system update for the mega man X legacy collection just like how konami give us the option to play the japanese version of there 80s arcade games line-up and old-school 2d castlevania and contra games from there 50th anniversary collection thing as a free system update lol

It's true that X6 is one of the worst mega man games (Not if you play X6 Tweaks) but it has a really good story and some things in X6 made much better than X5

@@alevg-1503 X7 is considering the worst of the X saga at least X6 can be fixed thanks to to the Tweaks mod but X7 has nothing to fix as the whole game is uninspiring, boring to play, the 3D mode is s*** and the controls doesn't help at all (the voice acting just add the cherry on the top)

Hold up, while I agree the Eng dub is worse in this game the opening is the different topic. In X3-4 the songs in JP while they're both good, just don't fit the visual and tone of the series at all (Series about robots fighting but using J-pop about love? Com'on) unlike in X5-8 those are both great and fitting tone.

We totally got robbed from the US version and we all know that the US version is half-ass . The Japanese version is the way to go and you can still get it at the Japanese PSN on your PS3 (you have to create a Japanese account) or you can get the Rockman X Legacy Collection (but don't get the US version because that version is still half-ass).

Stop saying "Japanese version". It's the original version. Capcom USA had nothing to do with the making of Rockman X4. And Americans didn't get robbed. The localization is still a great game with good voice acting.

@@elinfini I respect that. Could the casting have been better? Yeah. If it were up to me, I'd have kept the original voice actors and put properly translated subtitles on the screen. I can't speak to the voice direction though, because that's never shown to us. Maybe there's information about the localization voice work on the web.

@@bubufubu I don't see why it's bad to say Japanese version, it doesn't imply it's not original (because it is the original). It's just convenient that anyone can pick up immediately what version they're talking about. And the American dub in this game is indeed bad and I'm not even English native speaker to understand that, I don't know what cause it, may it be the cast or may it be the voice directing but it is happen to turned out bad and it shows when compared to good voice acting. Good thing that bad voice dub for localized Japanese game mostly is a thing in the past now as dub standard raising up overtime, unless they do it on purpose (Like House of the Dead Scarlet Dawn) Still prefer Japanese voice tho, not just this game but in general. Not saying English is bad tho because when properly done they are good too.
