SYNOPSIS:
In the second Psych film, Santa Barbara Police Chief Carlton Lassiter is ambushed on the job and left for dead. In a vintage Psych-style Hitchcockian nod, he begins to see impossible happenings around his recovery clinic. Shawn and Gus return to Lassie’s side in Santa Barbara and are forced to navigate the personal, the professional, and possibly the supernatural. Separated from their new lives in San Francisco, our heroes find themselves unwelcome in their old stomping grounds as they secretly untangle a twisted case without the benefit of the police, their loved ones, or the quality sourdough bakeries of the Bay Area. What they uncover will change the course of their relationships forever.

This is my favorite show of all time. I watched every episode the day it aired, ive seen every episode (realistically) 15 times. This movie felt like a true love letter to Lassie (Tim), and it WORKED so well. You can feel how sad and worried they are about the character Lassie, but I at least feel like (jules in particular) is talking directly to Tim when she tells him he's the strongest person she's ever met. Was the movie missing something? Wait for itttttttttt. (They missed that) yes they did. Is it still something I've watched 4 times since it released? Yes, yes it is.

I just found out today about Psych 2. So, I had to immediately watch all the trailers, then make a Peacock account, and watched the entire movie and was 10,000% not disappointed. The most laughs I've had in a while. Thank you, Peacock, for bringing back a beloved show, for a great movie. Now, I just need to force all of my friends and family to see it too.
