I love how this throws all ErrorInk stereotypes out the window. They always say that they’d be a happy family and good parents. Yeah right. The reality of it, as this video shows, is that they’re a broke family, with terrible parents. Ink is literally soulless and could care less about his kids, although he may try. Error is a straight up horrible parent as all he cares about is destroying AU’s and attacking Ink. And when together, it’s a whole lot worse. Rather than being in a happy family with not a care in the world, PJ and Gradient stick together and have each others backs, staying away from their “Parents”, and there for form an alliance, which could be the same for other ErrorInk and other Star Sans x Bad Guy kids.

Pretty sure if one of the cream ship children did happen there 'parents' would probably take care of them, because cross isn't actually evil he just wants to bring his au back and dream is literally the guardian of positivity. In cannon they probably wouldn't get together but would be good parents.

Pj's backstory basically is that they formed out of the leftovers of Ink's well, ink, and Error's strings. Well, an almost identical Au of Ink and Error, the only difference being that Pj existed. Error was disgusted in them and called them a mistake before running off. Ink tried to be a good parent, he really tried, but he kept getting distracted, so Pj eventually just ran away. Their mindset revolved around proving that they weren't a mistake and they carry that with them through their life. As they are a mix of Ink and Error's magic, they are chaotic neutral along with their quote unquote brother, Gradient.

I like the original paperjam AU so much I feel kinda sad that just because he is a shipp kid they make him like a "uwu childrish" His personality would be more like error, he is not even a kid anymore, and error and ink werent inlove and being good parents, like some people make them (even if i shipp, thats not the canon) And that disgusting thing they make with fresh, like, PJ has a actual family, he is not a bottom cutie and probably dont even know who fresh is Other funny thing is that Omni, the husband/wife of PJ is from a species that hates parasites

Well, yeah. He would actually. Cannon Ink would just end up ignoring the kids when a new and more 'interesting' au or timeline is created. So that wouldn't work well. I believe that the only reason why cannon Error wouldn't be a good parent would be due to him viewing his 'kids' also as anomalies. But if you somehow change that glitchy man's mindset or smth, it would work out. Though, Ink in general isn't exactly the best person. Lol

I mean, Canon Ink is the kind of person who is only interested when you're interesting or beneficial. Error would _probably_ only care because he's lonely, but if the kid is old enough to fend for themselves he would probably stop caring. As sad as this is, it's how the canon of the two are.

@@khasis1419 || and anyway...Error is the way he is because of his past..all error really remembers is being treated wrongly and that everyone is suffering because their AU's (at least that what he thinks) Now he just had a random child made from him and his enemy magic and he's expected to take care of them? that can be hard. Out of all things he wouldn't want to deal with failing the kid.

I don’t know about you but I think that error is destroying PJs soul making him soulless like Ink in a attempt to destroy him but PJ didn’t die because when inks soul got destroyed he didn’t die and since PJ has a part of Ink in Him. But you could be right to.

Okay I love this so much- it’s a good way to describe how Paperjam was made. Also how he popped into existence was so perfect and the emotions after. Song choice was surprising at first but eventually made sense, also body language. Perfecto.

I love how PJ's creator managed to make a kid from ink and error but still stayed true to the fact that ink and error are enemies edit: my dumb old self now has learnt the truth and that it technically isn't their 'child' but a fusion of their magic and now I'm gonna go die in a corner- :)

@@abnormality_robot ink is a soulless being who is always busy. ink cannot feel emotions and is a chaotic neutral person. he detached himself from his unfinished and unknown au that's what makes him emotionless and soulless, the vials on his strap is what makes him act as if he isnt soulless and basically without using them or without them ink wouldnt care as much considering how ink likes new things being created and is somewhat harsh can u truly blame someone who cant have a true soul or true emotions? its just like u would expect from someone who is emotionless and 'soulless' in real life. therefore its not exactly ink's fault he is a bad parent. with all of this evidence the real trashy parent error judging how error always finds things as mistakes, tried teaching his kid to destroy things, never satisfied with what his kids do to try and please him and or make him proud, ignore his kid, doesnt own up to being a responsible father. so honestly how is ink a trashy parent when error literally can feel emotions while as ink cant?, in other words ink probably would be a good parent if he had emotions and a soul but he doesnt so really error is the only trashy parent here

@@ehe.9456 yeah, this is. PJ and Gradient were both created from Ink and Errors left over magic from when they fought(Error's strings and Ink's Ink). The pieces of magic had been basically strung together to create another being. Also cannonly, monsters create children with their magic unlike humans. If you've remembered how Asriel was made, then it would make sense. So any monster just needs to have their magic form with another's to create a baby lol

I had to watch this like 10 times- your art and just how you portrayed these characters in general is amazing. It’s interesting to see Paperjam NOT shown as a cutesy adorable bean, but rather someone just tired of their “parents” fighting. I especially loved the reaction to first seeing Paperjam! Error’s sudden fear and Ink’s subdued “oh cool” expression is amazing and so on point. XD Seriously beautiful and gives so much personality to this weird “relationship”!

This is actually accurate unlike how people make the whole PJ being 'born' not created by leftover magic, and the 'ErrorInk family' is happy. Ink and Error are *enemies* and Ink is canonically soulles and is emotionless he could careless about what happened to PJ and Gradient, on the other hand Error would teach them how to destroy and bring them on...well killing sprees- or whatever the bad sanses does and that's not really how you raise a child- anywho everytime Error and Ink would meet they'd be probably fighting or arguing that led to PJ's dismay and he hangs out with his brother Gradient rebelling against their 'parents' :)

The art on this is so good!! And the small details showing that gradient is a bit nervous and how jammy always has that cunning look on his face, like, that man has a plan that I don't want to be on the wrong side of, and the way ink is just to caught up in everything to even notice, and just, it is all so amazing!!
