Everyone is using .21 engines. A lot are running os engines.

In Pro it's almost always .21 Nova, O.S. Orion, ect. Not all are sponsored by O.S.

Yes .21 for racing. In truggy your allowed up to .28 but no one really uses bigger then .21 really. Most are using a os made engine at the track. Os is king. Nova out of business now so I haven’t seen any pro use nova in long time. Os makes a lot of engines for different companies now, os makes new ultimate, protek samurai, gi mar, maXima, smj, blok, ruddog, ielasi, ninja, some Lrp race engines not basher ones, older bullitt, some others. Some other engine brands pro use fx, reds, performa.

Unfortunately there aren't many manufacturers left after covid, I never was a fan of o.s. engines, the soft sleeve makes for easy break in and more power, but longevity was an issue, most dont care at the pro level, I ran Reds, which is almost an o.s. except for the sleeve composition at the time, O.S. is just overpriced in my opinion, but now alot of drivers have no choice but to run o.s. at the time. PRO tek isnt half bad either, It sucks as there isnt much of a choice anymore. Most are equally matched and the driver is gonna win the race not the engine anyway. SH is come a long way, something to watch for in the future. The timing on the ports are really good.

@@stilltlrforlife the thing is os can run on not much pinch and run well. A lot of other engines can’t run on not much pinch. I disagree about the longevity comment I know friends with 15-20 gallons on os. You can keep pinching os also and then they run great. Os if it does get to hot yes it will lose pinch quicker then nova. But os last mad long. Os 21j carb is super consistent also. Which os did you have that you didn’t like. Reds aren’t as consistent tuning wise the scuderia gets good mileage for a lot though. I think nova were good bang for the buck but unfortunately not around anymore. I’ve run one fx so far I can’t give long term review but it’s good so far. Some Picco are ok some are finicky, they aren’t as consistent and they don’t last like os does. The reds is very different then os. Fx is closer to a os. I’ve run older alpha and they have run good to. Werks break in quick and lose pinch quicker then when that happens they don’t run. I have so many engines and I’ve run a lot of engines and have a huge collection. Also I help tune racers engines at local tracks sometimes etc.

This is all nitro. No electric cars in this race

This track is only up for one race then they tear it down for me it’s over 10 hours. A lot travel from all over for this race.
