Mighty Maisy and her Watchful Wesley. Not that she’ll need it, but I know he will be there to watch out for her their entire lives. I love that M and W are inverted versions of each other. Just like your twinsies, they’re so similar, but uniquely their own. I’m not sure if you planned that or not, but what a cool detail.

I’m a triplet and have some IMPORTANT advice. TREAT THEM AS INDIVIDUALS! Just because they’re twins doesn’t mean they will enjoy the same things. ALWAYS get them their own birthday cake and sing separately for each baby as you would a singleton. My sisters and I loved my parents did this. They’re beautiful and congratulations 🎉

THIS THIS THIS! I'm a twin and also one of the youngest cousins on my dads side of the family, and for years me, my brother, our sister, and our younger cousin (we were the youngest four) would get the same thing for Christmas and while it was alright when we were little kids by the time my brother and I were 12 we'd all had enough of it. A lot of family would also get my brother and I the same things for our birthday even though we share only a handful of interests. A couple of my younger cousins are just over a year apart (born Nov 07 and 08) and their parents have always treated their birthday as a joint occasion, even though they're not twins, and it's made them extremely insecure in that they feel like they have to share everything together. PLEASE treat multiples or kids with close birthdays as their own individual, it can make a world of difference.

I'm a first time mom of a precious little girl that is 21 months old now. As soon as I found out I was pregnant, I decided on the name Maisie and never went back. I also never looked at boy names because I had such a strong feeling that she was a girl. I've been watching you forever and I think you are such an amazing person and an incredible mother! I'm so excited to see where this new journey with your twins takes you. I'm super happy that you went with the name Maisy for your daughter as well and Wesley fits perfectly with that too! Fun fact about the nick name lady bug: in Portuguese lady bug is "joaninha". Like the name "Joana". So little Joana or Joana (In Portuguese spelling) means literally lady bug. Your baby's middle name is in fact her nick name in certain way because the translation for English speakers of that name is Joanne (or similar) ❤️

I love learning about the names and why you chose them! Im going into the hospital tomorrow to get my baby girl out and my husband and I decided early on to name her Maisie. We agreed to no middle names but I was still trying to convince him of the name JoAnn for a middle name because that too is the name of my grandmother who sadly passed from cancer. I couldnt believe what you were saying when I watched the video! My mums alternative name would have been Joanne and my sisters would have been Maisy or Alice, we settled for Alice Maisy as her middle names! I couldn’t believe as you were saying it! I don’t know if you’ll actually see this but there is a dr Suess book called Daisyhead Maisy. It’s an adorable book about a girl with a daisy literally growing from the top of her head and how everyone thought she was weird and tried to cut her daisy or cover it up and by the end she learns to love herself, daisy and all. It would be a very cute book to read to your Maisy❤️🥰

You got this momma! I completely understand where you're at. My little girl was born at 26 weeks, 1lb 10oz via emergencyc section. She spent almost 3 months in the NICU. She finally got to come home on Nov. 5th and has been doing amazing! You have some beautiful babies and they will do amazing. So happy for you!

I also love that the twins' names "match", but are also unique and individualized to each. Both end in the "y" sound & W and M can be the same letter, just flipped "upside down"! As a twin I was in the hospital for three months and when we got out my sister was still on an oxygen tank. Hope all goes well with the babies and they grow strong and can come home soon!!

I'm a twin and the shot of them holding hands made me so emotional! My brother wasn't expected to survive after birth - his cord collapsed and he was doing poorly in the NICU. The nurses decided to put me in his incubator with him, and within 3 days he was doing 100% better. Off oxygen, no IVs, literally thriving. We're still close to this day
