I’m a 42 year old, grown adult with two small children and Taylor Swift has been my therapist from her very first album. People only know what she’s put out as singles. They have no idea how deep her songs get.

I discovered Taylor Swift in 2020, that year alot happened to me. I made the final decision to leave my kids dad after 25 yrs of toxic relationship (after we lost our kids custody). Covid happened, my dad died from cancer , had an energency surgery for my baldgladder...I went through her whole music and she made me pass through all the rough time. She makes me feel happy even when she sing a sad song. Its her power and nobody will ever tell me shes a bad artist I will never agree.

As a person with mental health struggles, this song hits so hard. Especially on the days when it’s hard to even get out of bed but I manage to do it. Sometimes you just want to scream to everyone that you are trying the best and they don’t realize just how hard that is some days.

Great reaction! If you enjoy Taylor talking about mental health, she parallels two individuals having different trauma experiences in “epiphany,” a child trying to make sense of the abuse her friend faces at home in “seven,” grief in “marjorie,” and depression in “evermore.” I’d love to see reactions to those songs.

Hey man, you need to react to TOOL. They are hugely influenced by Carl Jung and have extremely deep lyrics and as a psychotherapist you would definitely find their stuff interesting. "46&2" and "Sober" would be great songs for you to check out. It's funny how im commenting this under a taylor swift video because some taylor swift fans kind of hate tool after they kicked some taylor swifts album from the number one spot with their "Fear Inoculum" album on Billboard or something
