Don’t worry about being “too therapy” we want u to help us understand the feelings these artists are having and the meaning behind these lyrics. That’s what I’m looking for at least.

This song was his idea of letting go of his previous self as he mentioned in the voice memo for sad! on his deluxe album. X had a very dark past and has gone through a lot mentally and physically and it caused him act out in very aggressive ways and often lead to physical altercations and fights, he even did this at school sometimes just to attract attention from his mother as it was something he was constantly seeking. But X changed and became aware of what he was doing and knew he wanted to change and this song represents exactly that. In the music video you can even see X fighting a previous version of himself and even visiting his own funeral (which was chilling as that music video was released soon after his passing in which he was robbed and shot on the scene while shopping for motorcycles. Most people hold onto who X was and fail to understand that he was young and was damaged and acted out not because he’s a bad person but because his upbringing wasn’t as good. They also fail to understand that he was changing as a person, doing donations and helping charities even starting his own movement titled “the helping hand”. Sadly this all goes unnoticed because of his shady past and his good days were short lived because just as he was making a change in the world and to himself, he was taken from this world. He will always be one of my favorite artists and i’ll never forget him. RIP X

Watching the music video to this song may give you more insight into his message since he directed it & wove the theme of heartbreak to transformation.

love your videos man. I have 2 suggestions by X & one by Juice which I think would be perfect for what you do. train food - both a song that brilliantly tells a story whilst being incredibly raw emotionally. 777 - one of his best songs from an actual rapping perspective + strong lyrics behind it. legends - this is a song juice wrld actually released the day after X was murdered in remembrance of him, a beautiful song that is made even sadder by the lyrics after what ended up happening to juice.
